“…healthy fruit has a healthy root”

We live in a world that is changing at an incredible pace. However, the problems that face us as human beings continue to have constant themes. Across the world news is reported – in every nation and generation – of hatred, distress, wars, bigotry, cruelty, evil, corruption, violence and self-indulgence.

Advances in education, science and technology help deal with the harvest that the world’s problems reap, but don’t remedy the root. The root problems humanity faces are found in the hearts of people, and history seems to teach us that these have not changed.

The true measure of growth is not just accepting truth, but APPLYING truth to YOUR heart. It is often difficult to identify root issues, in the field of your own heart, but looking at the fruit in your life can help identify the root issues.

I have to ask myself questions like - "what does the fruit in my life reveal are the root issues?", "in what ways am I honestly addressing root issues in my heart and investing truth, committed to change?"

What about you... what is the fruit you see in your life... so what are the root issues that need to change? It's only as we change as unique individuals that the world has a chance to change!

Hullo-o-o

How come - for someone as voluble as I - it is difficult to begin to think of something productive and worthwhile to say, when first faced with a blank page...?

In the beginning... was the Word... if we just knew that Word we'd have the key to unlock the mysteries of the universe... know the Word!
